While well under the price point of most 12 yo single malts this one is well worth a try. The nose is sweet and citrusy; I was reminded of Stewart’s orange cream soda. The first sip was fruity and floral, with pear and hibiscus. The second I could get a hint of smoke, cinnamon, barrel char and oak on the back end. Not an unpleasant dram and a great value for the money.
