Locations F by David Phinney French Red Wine is a blend of Grenache from the Roussillon, Syrah from the Rhone Valley and assorted Bordeaux varieties. This red blend has a dense ruby and purple color that is followed by a big, sweet kiss of licorice, black currant and camphor. Deep, and ripe — but not over-ripe — this full bodied red wine possesses good freshness, vibrancy as well as a juicy, in-your-face style. This French wine is meant to be drunk upon release, but it can evolve for four to five years. By breaking the traditional winemaking rules and restrictions, Locations combines grapes from across appellations with a simple mission — make the best possible wine from a given country or location.
