Medium-full bodied juicy fruit of cherries, mulberries melded with subtle oat and a hint of spice. Supple tannin extraction appeared silky on the palate, along with a subtle note of clove linger on the closing. The fruit is bright with subtle spice underlay added interest. This is a cherry-flavoured Sangiovese with subtle details of spice and a silky tannin line. Match with tomato base meat bake and hare over the next 5 years. 27-47 year-old vine age, fermented to 13% alc, aged 10 months in 90% stainless steel and 10% Slovenian Botti, 7,000 cases produced.
